Description
Also known as Finder’s Agreement these contracts can be used when someone such as a lawyer, studio owner, manager, producer or established writer, wants to find a deal for an artist but does not want to be involved at any level.
The ‘Finder’ may also not wish to become involved in the artist’s career longer term as a manager but might be able to spot an opportunity to use their contacts to further the artist’s career.
This is a short document where the artist appoints someone non-exclusively and for short period to help find a record, publishing or synchronisation deal. In exchange for finding a deal the Finder will receive a percentage cut from any advance and royalties monies received by artist in respect to such deal the Finder helped procure.
